Societe Generale Credit Cards

The Societe Generale is a major European financial services company it also maintains different other activities in different other parts of world. The Societe Generale has it’s headquarter located in France. It is considered as one of the oldest banks in France. The bank has its original name as Societe Generale pour favoriser le développement du commerce et de l'industrie en France.

The Societe Generale was founded in the second empire, on May 4, 1864, by a group of industrialists and financiers. The formation of this bank meant establishment of an organization that can support the development of commerce and industry in France. The bank's first chairman was the prominent industrialist Eugène Schneider.

The Societe Generale is considered as a Group that follows a commercial growth policy which is based on the selective development of its basic activities based on a combination of organic growth and acquisitions. The bank also draws on a strong capacity for its improvement which is created towards the satisfaction of its customers.

The Credit cards are the payment systems which are convenient as it is such a facility where other than a small plastic card for money transaction nothing else is required.

The Credit cards offered by Societe Generale works exactly like the cards issued by other banks over the world. The cards are issued after the user name when the account is approved by the credit provider. With the help of this card the user is able to purchase from merchants when the cards are accepted up to a pre established credit limit. Usually general banks issue the credit but sometimes a captive bank also issues a specific band of credit card like the Chase, Wells Fargo or Bank of America issues the credit.
